About the role
- Dry End processes ensure quality product and customer satisfaction.
- Hunt Forest Products is seeking an experienced plywood Production Shift Supervisor to safely run and operate the Dry End.
- This will be achieved by professionally training and leading a shift crew; exercising proper safety procedures; optimizing productivity; monitoring equipment and wood quality and maintaining production goals/KPIs.
Responsibilities
- Support employee development and engagement through coaching, feedback and performance management.
- Use fair and positive leadership to train and develop team to deliver safe, consistent and timely results.
- Ensure machinery settings, spreads and requested product schedules are achieved on a regular basis so as to maintain optimum production and product quality.
Requirements
- Accurately completes reports, investigations, required forms and other documentation in a timely manner.
