About the role
- - 8 years of experience planning and executing campus operational budgets, expense forecasting, and managing established budgets.
- - 5 years of experience meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal teams on uptime, efficiencies, and cost.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to monitor data center systems operations, control site activities to minimize risk, and ensure effective response to any excursions.
- Own the development of strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and reduce environmental impact at a site, along with driving site-level development of programs and initiatives.
- Own efforts to perform compliance activities for a data center and analyze compliance results for data centers globally, ensuring teams comply with project/schedule guidelines and design standards.
- Lead efforts to ensure all sites are following facility, maintenance, and standard programs globally while exhibiting strength in improvement to said policies and programs.
- Incorporate subject matter expertise and experience to make recommendations for data center design improvements to optimize equipment and operations for next generation data centers.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience planning and executing campus operational budgets, expense forecasting, and managing established budgets.
- 5 years of experience meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal teams on uptime, efficiencies, and cost.
- Experience managing technical teams in charge of operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and controls infrastructure and components.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in mission-critical systems operations, including power generation, data center, refinery, chip fabrication, chemical processing, or other high-consequence environments.
- Experience collaborating with other business units to meet company goals and standards.
- Excellent people management and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Some duties will include heating and cooling of air and water, power supply, generators, UPS systems, electrical distribution and control and monitoring systems.
- You'll provide daily assistance to senior technicians as you read blueprints/schematics, conduct tours of systems and assess their working order.

Compensation
- US: $138000 - $201000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
