Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of UX designers and researchers supporting the Omnipod 5 sustaining portfolio.
  • Own and continuously improve the UX operating model for the Omnipod 5 sustaining business.
  • Develop and maintain operational frameworks that increase delivery predictability and team effectiveness.
  • Drive standardization of UX workflows, tools, templates, documentation, and governance.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce inefficiencies, rework, and delivery bottlenecks.
  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering leadership to align UX work with business priorities and release plans.
  • Manage UX capacity forecasting, quarterly planning, and portfolio prioritization activities.
  • Define and evolve effective engagement models between UX and its cross-functional partners.
  • With its simple, wearable design, the tubeless disposable Pod provides up to three days of non-stop insulin delivery, without the need to see or handle a needle.
  • Insulet's flagship innovation, the Omnipod 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System, integrates with a continuous glucose monitor to manage blood sugar with no multiple daily injections, zero fingersticks, and can be controlled by a compatible personal smartphone in the U.S. or by the Omnipod 5 Controller.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in UX Design, UX Research, Service Design, Design Operations, or related disciplines.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience managing UX teams.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives within complex organizations.
  • Strong understanding of UX methodologies, research practices, design systems, accessibility, and customer-centered design.
  • Demonstrated expertise with resource planning, prioritization, operational management, and process improvement.
  • Experience supporting sustaining or post-market product development.
  • Experience implementing UX metrics and operational performance measurement frameworks.

Compensation

  • Compensation & Benefits:For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $144,500.00 - $216,800.00This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including
