- Business Systems Analyst Chatham University welcomes applications for the position of Business Systems Analyst in our Information Technology department.
Responsibilities
- Support configuration and maintenance of Workday business processes and workflows.
- Provide general support for enterprise applications, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Partner with technical teams to test and implement system updates, enhancements, and new features.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Support data integrity by validating and monitoring system data for accuracy and consistency.
- Ancillary support of other enterprise systems, including the document management system and the room reservation system.
- Collaborate with campus stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- The Business Systems Analyst supports the institution's ongoing Workday implementation and transformation by helping functional departments and IT teams improve, support, and optimize business-critical systems.
- This entry-level role helps analyze business needs, troubleshoot system issues, support business processes, test system changes, and document solutions.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic knowledge of Workday or other ERP systems (e.g., Banner, PeopleSoft, SAP).
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Experience in business analysis, IT support, or systems administration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with student systems and processes (admissions, registration, advising, etc.).
- Basic experience with reporting and data analysis tools, or scripting languages.

Compensation
- $55,800 - 60,000 annually. 40-hour work week.
