About the role

Neogenyx has an opportunity for an Operations and Maintenance Technician to join our Team at the Woodland Meadows High BTU gas process facility, located in Canton, MI.
The Plant process includes numerous motor driven compressors, Blowers, pumps and ambient oil and gas coolers.
Process also includes several media filled process vessels, valves, Chiller, filter systems and various gas analyzer and monitoring equipment.

Collaborate with team members and plant operators, follow operational best practices and safety protocols.
Conduct regular inspections, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Develop and implement training programs for operators to ensure they are proficient in their roles.
Maintain accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents or issues that arise.

Minimum 2 years equipment operations experience using mechanical, electrical, instrument or control system skills.
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience in lieu of diploma.
Valid US driver's license required.

Experience performing mechanical maintenance on blowers, compressors, and equipment is desirable.
Experience with Gas Processing or similar systems desirable.
Understanding of PLC, electrical power equipment, and gas plant operations experience desirable.
Knowledge of the fundamentals of electricity, both AC and DC, and Arc Flash Hazards.
Basic knowledge electrical and electronic testing equipment.
Basic computer skills including e-mail and data entry using Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience Supervising Operations and Maintenance personnel.
