About the role

Responsibilities
- Document nonconformance and maintain quality records to prevent repeated occurrence of product nonconformity and deficiencies.
- Perform inspections using various mechanical and electrical measuring and testing devices such as a multi-meters, calipers, CMM and micrometers.
- Create NCMR (non-conforming material review) and notify appropriate parties of findings.
- Provide data entry and administrative support to assist with tracking defects through a "defect library" and contribute to the organization's productivity tracking.
- Cross train in other departments as necessary to develop cross-functional skill set.
- Comply with and support all department and corporate policies and procedures, included but not limited to safety, security, and OSHA guidelines.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
- Develop internal and external customer relationships, including with source inspection, by building trust and collaboration. Listen and be prepared to take prompt, appropriate action to address customer requirements.
Requirements
- Computer skills including basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, Internet and Email.
- As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado.
Nice to have
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Previous mechanical and visual inspection experience preferred.
Skills
- Ability to read and understand component and assembly drawings/blueprints.
- Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma / GED, or equivalent experience considered.
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing environment preferred. Previous mechanical and visual inspection experience preferred.
