About the role
- A successful Athletics Coach should have extensive knowledge, as well as experience, in the sport and be able to articulate basic and advanced concepts effectively in teaching students how to play.
- Age-Appropriate Coaching: Tailor practices and coaching techniques to the developmental stages of 4th-8th grade players, understanding the varied skill levels and learning styles of young athletes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a balance between competitive spirit and personal growth for all players.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move objects of up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to quickly respond to children's movements during activities.
- Required to travel by bus to and from away games with the athletes
- Develop progressive drills that allow players to build confidence and proficiency in all areas of the game.
Skills
- This is a part-time, non-exempt position.
- Emphasize basic flag football principles, such as positioning, passing, catching, communication, and field awareness.
Compensation
- $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
