About the role

  • By contributing to the Texas 4-H Youth Development Foundation, you help empower young Texans to become tomorrow's leaders.
  • This leadership position plays a critical role in administering one of the largest youth scholarship programs in Texas while also coordinating several high-profile leadership, alumni, and donor engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of the Texas 4-H Foundation scholarship program from application through award distribution and follow-up.
  • Maintains scholarship records, donor requirements, and compliance documentation.
  • Assists in developing grant guidelines, timelines, evaluation criteria, and impact reporting.
  • Develops strategies to increase alumni engagement, participation, and giving.
  • Assists in building long-term relationships with alumni and volunteer leaders.
  • Manages nominations, selection coordination, communications, marketing materials, and event logistics.
  • Maintains accurate donor and participation records.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Compensation

  • 12-15 days of annual paid holidays
  • Compensation for this position is commensurate based on the selected candidate's qualifications.
  • Coordinates the annual "4 Under 40" recognition program.
  • Annual Report Coordination
  • Leads the coordination and production of the Foundation's annual report.
