- IMEG's mechanical engineers design HVAC and mechanical systems that enhance building performance while pushing sustainability forward.
- The team uses lifecycle analysis, rapid energy modeling, and sustainable design practices to support occupant comfort, indoor air quality, and reduced energy consumption.
- Mechanical specialties include advanced HVAC system design, central plants, building automation and controls, and energy recovery solutions.
- IMEG's plumbing engineers design reliable and efficient systems including domestic hot and cold water supply, water heating, sanitary sewer and vent, stormwater drainage, and specialty plumbing.
- IMEG also offers fire protection engineering and coordinated fire protection plumbing solutions that support code compliance, life safety, and integrated design outcomes.
Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays
Nice to have
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and mechanical engineering best practices while contributing to innovation efforts within IMEG
- Identify and mitigate safety risks associated with mechanical systems and prioritize safety in all aspects of engineering work
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, required
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required
- 7 years of experience minimum required, 8 preferred, in the building design consulting industry
- Advanced proficiency in design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specifications
- Strong training, mentoring and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation
- Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
- Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
- $105,000 - $130,000
