Responsibilities

  • The Junior CAM Development Engineer begins their career journey by supporting the global CAM development team in building and maintaining CAD/CAM automation solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in similar engineering role
  • Must be able to work on site in Mahwah, NJ, 5 days per week.
  • communicate next steps to management as required.
  • They perform structured assignments, apply established procedures, and gain hands‑on experience with software and automated manufacturing equipment.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in PowerMILL, PowerSHAPE (Delcam/AutoDesk).
  • Expertise in CAM automation and industrial solutions.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing automation processes.
  • Experience with 5-axis CNC controllers (e.g., Fanuc, Roeders, Heidenhain).
  • Programming knowledge in C#, JavaScript.
  • Experience with Post Processors.
  • Team player and collaborative with both co-workers and the supervisor.
  • Fluent in English, excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation

  • At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
  • The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
  • Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs.
  • $81,000 - $99,000
