About the role
- The CPRM can independently select and use inspection equipment to check dimensions of all critical components during the assembly and repair process.
- Ensures all components are properly cleaned and free from foreign material following our FME (Foreign Material Exclusion) procedures.
- The CPRM will paint, install all tagging, and prep the pump prior to shipment to the customer.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in Pre-Job briefs with team leads and peers to understand job expectations.
- Clearly document critical or indicated fits and dimensions in decimal form on checklists and inspection documents - including taking photos as needed.
- The CPRM will work with team leads to execute work as provided on work instructions, routers, drawings, and checklists.
Requirements
- Knowledge of service environment activities including DCI, machining, assembly, test, and field service for rotating equipment.
- Experience working in a cross-functional, diverse, and responsive team.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds with a full range of hand and upper-body motion to work with tools and parts.
- Must be able and willing to work overtime hours including weekends and holidays when dictated by customer emergencies and business needs.
- Significant experience with the proper and safe use of various common power and hand tools needed to assemble rotating equipment.
- Ensures all forms and documentation is complete with photos as required.
Nice to have
- 2+ years of rotating equipment repair experience (pump experience highly preferred).
