About the role
- This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and rapid turnaround for Class 8 tractors and trailers in a growing, high-utilization fleet. Our trucks are equipped with ADS sensors and computing units, so the ideal technician is comfortable working around sensitive hardware and following established procedures to avoid damage or
- contamination. Experience doing basic ADS physical checks and first-line troubleshooting is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform PMs and safety inspections
- Maintain clear, accurate work orders and history: symptom → root cause → repair → verification
- Support parts management and basic stocking of common wear items.
- Perform PMs and safety inspections; address DVIR/DOT defects quickly.
Requirements
- Required
- Preferred
- Prior exposure to ADAS and/or ADS hardware.
Nice to have
- Ability to follow OEM procedures and use OEM diagnostic tools.
- Basic first-line ADS checks (visual inspection, connector reseat per procedure, fuse/power/ground checks) and proper escalation when needed.
