As a Controller on the US Finance team in our Santa Monica Office, you'll play a vital role in overseeing the successful operations of the accounting function.
The Controller will be responsible for managing the US finance team, optimizing the financial close process, strengthening internal controls and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and develop positive cross-functional working relationships
Ability to foster and manage relationships across multiple departments and disciplines to meet aggressive goals and strict deadlines
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting function in the US and Canada, leading and mentoring a team of 6 employees, including managing shared accounting operations (AP, payroll, T&E) for the company and US subsidiary, and providing support to additional subsidiaries.
Implement, support and oversee SOX compliance measures and implement new policies to meet departmental goals
Partner with and maintain strong relationships with cross functional teams (Sales, Operations, HR and IT). Utilize strong communication skills and accounting acumen to support Taboola's hypergrowth.

Manage the financial month-end closing process to ensure all required financial data is accurate, reconciled, documented and disclosed in a timely manner
Review and assess monthly budget/forecast to actual variance and prepare a quantitative and qualitative analysis while streamlining the month-end closing processes and maintaining a high degree of compliance
