About the role
- The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $29; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience between $27 and $35.

Responsibilities
- Maintain production and building equipment through installation, repair and preventative maintenance in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Must have excellent attendance and good work history.
- Must be able to work from elevated platforms and ladder lifts.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Must have reliable transportation and own tools
- Must have excellent mechanical aptitude and demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
- Must have excellent understanding of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic drawings used to troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Must be forklift certified.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Must score a 74% or higher on the Mechanical Comprehension Test.
- Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, climbing, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting/moving (up to 50 pounds).
- Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
- Must perform all duties in a safe and effective manner.

Nice to have
- Preferred minimum of 10 years mechanical work experience.
Skills
- Make simple tool cuts using maintenance shop machine tools (lathe, milling machine, welding equipment, etc.)
