Responsibilities
- Deliver hydraulic modeling and water resources analysis for municipal servicing, stormwater management, and conveyance systems.
- Prepare and review technical reports, design drawings, and regulatory submissions for municipal approvals.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering design across land development, infrastructure, and utility systems.
- Support planning and execution of stormwater management systems, including ponds, drainage networks, and LID solutions.
- Conduct design review to ensure constructability, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiency.
- Perform quality control checks across project phases, ensuring adherence to municipal engineering standards.
- Monitor regulatory changes and apply best practices in sustainable and resilient infrastructure design.
- Support construction phase services, including design clarifications and technical reporting.

Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have the following background, skills and attributes:

Nice to have
- Completion of a university degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering.
- A masters degree in Water Resources Engineering is an asset.
- Alberta experience is preferred.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Alberta (APEGA) and in good standing.
- Working knowledge of various software for planning and design of water infrastructure facilities (AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcView GIS, PCSWMM, Mike suite, WaterCAD, SewerCAD) required.
- Experience with automation, including but not limited to Dynamo and Python, is considered an asset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- French bilingual is considered an asset.
