Responsibilities
- Perform sample accessioning procedures according to the laboratory's standard operating procedures
- Prepare documents for equipment and personnel records
- Perform and document routine maintenance of equipment
- Write and review controlled documents as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in biology-adjacent field, or student currently pursuing biology degree
- The ability to indirectly or directly change the lives of hundreds of thousands patients
- Able to integrate and apply feedback in a professional manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to manage daily specimen processing needs with high emphasis on quality
- Able to analyze and problem solve basic issues that impact test performance
- Able to proactively communicate consistently, clearly, and honestly
Nice to have
- Clinical Laboratory experience or equivalent high complexity and volume laboratory experience
- Laboratory experience within the last year preferred
