About the role

This hands-on role is responsible for sourcing materials, managing inventory, coordinating deliveries and pickups, and ensuring operational efficiency across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

Manage, oversee, and actively participate in daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
Train and support junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and reliable delivery.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to support cost-control initiatives.
Collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, and service teams to quote and fulfill material and parts needs.
Manage storage and material handling to optimize space, prevent damage, and ensure accessibility.
Support construction teams by ensuring materials are available when and where needed to avoid project delays.

Required Skills and Competencies

Nice to have

Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards.
Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, logistics, or warehouse processes.
Source and procure materials for solar construction projects, including PV modules, inverters, racking systems, etc.
Forecast material needs and coordinate procurement schedules aligned with project timelines.
Coordinate and execute deliveries, parts pickups, and transportation logistics to ensure timely and efficient material flow.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Ensure proper documentation and tracking of all incoming and outgoing materials.

Skills

Compensation

$67,150.00 - $107,440.00 *This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
