About the role
- Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor Direct Reports: None Roles and Responsibilities: The duties listed below are an outline of the Maintenance Technician's responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- The pay for this position is $25.00 per hour depending on a variety of factors including market factors int he geographical location where the candidate lives. #LI-TM1 Landmark is an equal opportunity employer.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, professional, and OSHA approved work environment
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Develop a sense of community among the residents and staff
- Maintain active and effective communication with residents and parents
- Maintain an positive community environment for both residents and associates and encourage participation in events and activities
- Document and address behaviors of residents that violate the law or the community lease agreement
Requirements
- 2 years' experience with electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair
- Must have excellent communication and people skills
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand
Nice to have
- HVAC certification preferred
- Computer literacy preferred
