Responsibilities
- Own budget formulation, cost coding, commitment tracking, and cost-to-complete forecasting, maintaining strict fiscal discipline across the project lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain EVM baselines, measure cost and schedule performance (CPI/SPI), analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain project cash flow forecasts, contingency and management-reserve tracking, and contingency draw analysis.
- Partner with the scheduling team to ensure the master schedule (Primavera P6) is cost-loaded and aligned with the cost baseline, critical path, and actual field progress.

- Reporting to the Project Controls Manager within the project management team, the Project Controls Specialist (Cost Control) owns the day-to-day cost-control function on the ANMRC project.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Commerce, Architectural Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project cost control, cost engineering, or project controls on large-scale capital construction projects
- candidates with 10+ years will be considered for senior-level responsibilities.
- familiarity with Primavera P6 and project cost-management/ERP systems is an asset.
- Experience on complex industrial, institutional, or heavy-civil projects.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the site access and security clearance required to work at a CNL / AECL nuclear facility.
