- Continuous Improvement Specialist draws upon the deep knowledge and experience of Lean for Healthcare and other improvement methodologies in accomplishing assignments.
Responsibilities
- Will work with leaders as a change agent to drive transformation and assist with change management.
Requirements
- Three or more years of experience including project leadership experience is required with a demonstrated record of achieving and sustaining favorable results.
- Demonstrated expertise using a wide range of performance improvement tools and methodologies, including Lean, is required.
- Must have excellent organizational, analytical, presentation and project management skills.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate and interact effectively with employees from all areas of the organization.
- Must have the ability to evaluate and discuss defects and errors in an objective and non-threatening manner.
- Demonstrated ability using complex data for decision-making is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products and desktop software is required.
- Must have strong written, oral, visual and presentation skills to articulate the philosophy of Continuous Improvement as well as on-going project status information.
- A Master's degree preferred.

- A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Nursing, or other professional healthcare discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Experience providing education/training and coaching in the use of performance improvement tools and techniques required.
- Clinical experience in nursing, medicine, pharmacy or allied health profession is valued.
- Lean for Healthcare or Lean Six Sigma certification or comparable experience preferred.
