About the role

  • GCU CityServe is a compassionate Christian outreach ministry of Grand Canyon University that mobilizes resources and collaborative partnerships to provide life-transformational solutions to individuals and families in need.
  • The CSLP student worker's work schedule is dependent on the hours of operations and needs of GCU CityServe; however, CSLP student workers may not work more than 20 hours per week during the academic year (i.e., fall/spring).
  • If eligible, CSLP student workers can work during summer (i.e., May - August).

Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Enrolled at GCU in a bachelor's program or master's program full-time during fall/spring or half-time during summer.
  • Maintain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
  • You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements
  • Have passion and willingness to help others succeed.
  • Possess strong ethics, integrity, and sense of responsibility.

Nice to have

  • Previous Mentoring a plus.
  • Ability to speak a second language a plus.
