Responsibilities
- Lead project development from concept through construction administration, ensuring compliance with NYC codes and public agency requirements
- Manage design and documentation processes using AutoCAD and Revit/BIM, maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy
- Support junior staff, providing guidance on technical execution and project coordination
- Navigate NYC zoning, building codes, Local Law 11, and ADA regulations to ensure project compliance
- Manage project schedules while coordinating with consultants, contractors, and client representatives
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in architectural design and project management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
- Interface with NYC and state agencies, demonstrating a strong understanding of public sector project requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture #LI-Onsite
Nice to have
- Valid license as a Registered Architect (RA) in NY is strongly preferred
- Direct experience with NYC and NY State public agency projects is preferred
- candidates with the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire (ie, have already passed multiple exams) will be considered
- familiarity with NYC codes is required
Compensation
- $110,000 - $145,000 USD
