About the role
- Dow has an exciting an exciting opportunity for a Millwright in Deer Park, Texas.
- The job will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a variety of process and rotating equipment used in industrial processing.
- The mechanical equipment may include ANSI pumps, blowers, fans, gearboxes, conveyor belts, hydraulic systems, conveying systems, baghouses, mixers and agitators.
Responsibilities
- Perform the task as per the conditions of the Safe Work Permit.
- Create a field procedure when a procedure does not exist.

- Performs the Maintenance role (hands-on) in the Global Maintenance Work Process.
- Opportunities to learn and grow through training and mentoring, work experiences, community involvement and team building.
Requirements
- A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have a Journeyman Millwright or successful completion of a millwright apprenticeship.
- 3 or more years of experience in an industrial maintenance role.
- Must have a current, valid US Driver's License.
- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.
- Feedback information on job package quality and Root Cause Analysis data as required.
- Review procedures as required.
Nice to have
- Previous experience working in a Petrochemical facility.
- Physical Requirements
- Able to meet the following physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations:
- Lift, push, and pull up to 55 lbs.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Stand 50% of the time.
- Walk for extended periods of time.
- Work at heights, climb stairs and ladders.
