About the role
- This position applies educational theories and adult learning principles in planning and delivering education.
- The key responsibility of this position is to meet the non-clinical and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training needs of the staff in the organization.
Requirements
- Well-developed computer skills required (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) Demonstrated teaching and facilitation skills.
- Proven aptitude to work in an environment requiring ongoing flexibility, attention to detail, well-developed organizational skills and a high level of computer literacy.
- Minimum of one (1) year of adult teaching experience required.
- Bachelor of Education preferred.
- Adult education training certificate or diploma required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation CPR Instructor credentials and experience an asset.
Nice to have
- Experience as a CPR Instructor preferred.
