About the role

  • This is a hands-on position that plays a critical role in ensuring material accuracy, efficiency, and quality.

Responsibilities

  • handle and organize composite materials to maintain proper freezer/thaw tracking and shelf-life controls.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine machine cleaning, blade changes, and preventive maintenance on cutting tables to ensure consistent performance.
  • support traceability and quality record-keeping requirements.
  • Material preparation: Pull, thaw, and stage prepreg rolls; handle and organize composite materials to maintain proper freezer/thaw tracking and shelf-life controls.
  • Documentation: Accurately record material usage, waste, and cut part data in ERP/MES systems; support traceability and quality record-keeping requirements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a composites manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Gerber, Eastman, or other automated cutting tables.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, cut files, and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to handle material rolls, move kits, and stand for extended periods.
