About the role
- This role is built for someone who has spent their career as a hands-on data engineer and is ready to grow into a strategy-focused, client-facing position.
- You're hands-on with the architecture and the code, and you're comfortable presenting technical strategy directly to client stakeholders and defending architecture decisions.
- You understand how data quality, structure, and observability shape the analytics and AI outcomes clients rely on, and you bring that perspective to every engagement.
Responsibilities
- Data architecture and modeling: Design data models, schemas, and identity strategies that connect raw data to clear business and marketing outcomes.
- Pipelines and transformation: Build and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines and transformations into cloud warehouses using modern patterns and tooling.
- Attribution and measurement: Build attribution structures, UTM frameworks, and campaign tracking that give a trusted view of performance.
- Quality, reliability, and enablement: Test, monitor, document, and improve data systems so they are reliable, scalable, and easy for clients to operate.
- You design clean, scalable data architecture and you're hands-on, writing pipelines, modeling schemas, and debugging integrations yourself.
- Design data models, schemas, and identity strategies that connect raw data to clear business and marketing outcomes.
- You will architect and build the data systems that power our clients' most important growth initiatives.
Requirements
- Core technical skills: Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with demonstrated experience building and operating production-grade pipelines and data models.
- Cloud data and modeling experience: Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift), dbt or similar transformation tooling, data modeling, and tag management.
- Activation and measurement knowledge: Hands-on experience with Reverse ETL (e.g., Census, Hightouch), web analytics, attribution, and marketing measurement.
- A 401(k) with a 3% employer contribution -- no match required and 100% vested after just 90 days.
