Responsibilities
- The role ensures solutions are designed around user needs while maintaining consistency with the firm's design standards, accessibility requirements, and security expectations.
Nice to have
- Conduct usability testing and analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback to improve product adoption and effectiveness.
- Participate in Agile/Kanban ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and product demonstrations.
- Monitor user feedback, analytics, and product performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
- User research techniques including interviews, surveys, contextual inquiry, usability testing, and heuristic evaluation.
- Agile and Kanban software development methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Interaction
- Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, Information Systems, Psychology, or a related discipline required.
Skills
- Strong ability to translate complex business processes into simple, intuitive user experiences.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills when working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to balance user needs, business priorities, technical constraints, and delivery timelines.
- Passion for designing exceptional digital experiences that improve how legal professionals work.
- Interest in emerging technologies, including AI, intelligent automation, and conversational interfaces.
- Curiosity about legal technology, digital transformation, and workflow optimization.
- Commitment to accessibility, inclusive design, and continuous learning.
- Desire to work directly with users and iteratively improve products based on feedback.
- 3-5 years of experience designing enterprise web applications, SaaS products, or digital business solutions.
- Demonstrated experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Experience designing responsive web applications, dashboards, portals, workflow applications, or AI-enabled user interfaces.
