Responsibilities
- Generates and approves design proposals via Global Incremental Process and communicates alignments and/or misalignments with customer requirements based on our internal capabilities.
- Ensures model accuracy, design documentation, drafting standards alignment, and/or testing requirements are met when generating or approving drawings for production.
- Conducts moderately complex design analysis on components and/or assemblies that may extend current product/material/manufacturing capabilities and completes these work assignments utilizing engineering principles & functional protocols to generate the necessary documentation.
- Has and maintains fundamental awareness of customer and industry technical requirements, and basic business acumen regarding the business impact of technical decisions.
- Supports the cross functional execution of established Corporate/Functional objectives and understands crossfunctional interdependencies, seeking out input from business functions' representatives and other engineering personnel to coordinate the interrelated design and assure project completion.

- Required Minimum Qualifications
Nice to have
- Experience using 3D CAD software
- knowledge of FEA systems Preferred
Skills
- 3-6 Years in Engineering or Design Environment
- Experience using 3D CAD software; knowledge of FEA systems Preferred
- Strong computer literacy, especially in MS Office
- Ability to work in cross-functional team environment
- Experience in Polymer, Plastics, Elastomer design/manufacturing preferred
- Basic understanding of Lean 6 Sigma Principles, White Belt preferred

- $16k-$45k
