Responsibilities
- Own the full employee lifecycle for a significant portion of the engineering team, including hiring senior ICs, coaching, and performance management.
- Collaborate deeply with Product and Design leadership to shape the technical roadmap and balance technical debt with rapid feature delivery.
- Lead the team in adopting AI-native engineering practices, ensuring high architectural integrity while leveraging modern tools to solve complex data problems.
- Proven track record of building and scaling engineering teams, with a preference for management as a craft rather than being a tech lead manager.
- Pragmatic, product-minded approach with experience in (or passion for) fintech, agriculture, or building tools that simplify complex, messy real-world data.
