About the role
- The Scientist position is in the Genetic Toxicology department within Safety Sciences.
- The primary responsibilities of the position are to conduct next generation sequencing (NGS) experiments and cell biology-based work to identify genotoxic compounds and data processing.

Requirements
- B.S degree with at least 6 to 8 years OR M.S degree with 4 to 6 years' experience working in a biology laboratory
- Commitment to scientific understanding of the data and development of technical expertise are required.
- The successful candidate will have expertise in automation and high throughput assays, in addition to working in a cellular biology laboratory and demonstrate ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Mastery of automation, cell culture, and molecular techniques
Nice to have
- Experts in next-generation sequencing (sequencing library preparation and data analysis)
- Experts in automation protocol development and troubleshooting
- Experience in high-throughput assays
- SMEs within and beyond genetic toxicology
- Project team representatives
- External consortia collaborators

Compensation
- The annual base salary for this position ranges from $79,400.00 to $132,400.00.
