  • Ability to run transactions independently with a strong bias toward closing, operating with minimal supervision in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfort advising senior executives and synthesizing complex legal positions into clear, actionable business recommendations.

  • The team is distributed across US time zones with core overlap from 9am-5pm PT/ET; primary communication is async-first via Slack, with key decisions documented in Notion - distributed, not distant.
  • Weekly Legal team sync for cross-functional coordination and deal pipeline review; biweekly 1:1s with the CLO for strategic prioritization and deal advisory.
  • TRM operates a high-transparency culture - deal status, governance obligations, and outside counsel spend are tracked in shared workspaces accessible to Finance and the executive team.
