About the role
- Valid driver's license, insurable by the university's insurance carrier and able to operate manual transmission vehicles.
- Duties also include weeding, irrigating plant areas, and trimming/pruning trees, shrubs, and grass as needed.

Responsibilities
- Properly maintain and store tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Perform safety checks on equipment and vehicles for safe operations according to the standard of use, and report any damage for repairs or replacement
Requirements
- Basic ability to read and write and six months of experience.
- Pre-employment physical exam required.
- This position is a required personnel position and requires the employee's physical presence at the workplace.
- Additionally, the employee is required to report to (or remain at) work to assist with University emergencies during closures.
- Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
- Attend required trainings and meetings.
