About the role

Valid driver's license, insurable by the university's insurance carrier and able to operate manual transmission vehicles.
Duties also include weeding, irrigating plant areas, and trimming/pruning trees, shrubs, and grass as needed.

Properly maintain and store tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Perform safety checks on equipment and vehicles for safe operations according to the standard of use, and report any damage for repairs or replacement

Basic ability to read and write and six months of experience.
Pre-employment physical exam required.
This position is a required personnel position and requires the employee's physical presence at the workplace.
Additionally, the employee is required to report to (or remain at) work to assist with University emergencies during closures.
Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
Attend required trainings and meetings.
