Responsibilities
- Performs necessary work in inspecting, loading, and unloading tank wagons, totes and rail cars.
- Drive Yard Mule and Rail track mobile.
- Performs necessary work in unloading, filling, and loading drums on box trucks.
- Maintains and records all inventory changes and performs necessary work for blending of products.
- Maintains current, detailed knowledge and understanding of all shipping equipment, and chemicals that are loaded or unloaded, and contents of Shipping Procedure Manual, efficient in SAP inventory, labels, bolts, etc.
- Write Start Work and Hot Work Permits for maintenance and creates work orders.
- Maintain good housekeeping habits to ensure the cleanliness, neatness, and order of work area and equipment.
- Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
- Develop energy isolation procedures once qualified.
Requirements
- Participates in and completes company-required training programs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
- Associate degree in Process Technology with 2+ years of experience.
- 5 years of chemical plant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Nice to have
- SAP experience preferred.
