Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain end-to-end supply plans for clinical programs, including demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory strategies across depots and external CDMOs.
- Lead cross-functional scenario planning and risk assessments to ensure uninterrupted supply throughout the clinical development lifecycle.
- Lead Global Clinical Supply Chain planning activities within the operating model, including CDOP (Clinical Development Operations Planning) and Clinical Supply & Operations Planning.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional planning activities and align supply plans with Clinical Operations, CMC, Quality, Regulatory, and external partners.
- Strong vendor management experience, including oversight of CDMOs, depots, IRT providers, logistics providers, and other clinical supply partners.
- Establishes best practices and drives process standardization across studies, programs, and vendors.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience using KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to support decision making.
- Cytokinetics is a specialty cardiovascular biopharmaceutical company, building on its over 25 years of pioneering scientific innovations in muscle biology, and advancing a pipeline of potential new medicines for patients suffering from diseases of cardiac muscle dysfunction.
- The Associate Director, Clinical Supply Chain, will develop and formulate supply chain strategies, meet project deliverables, solve business problems and drive improvements within Global Clinical Supply Chain (GCSC), as well as the Cytokinetics enterprise.
- This position includes all elements of the clinical supply planning from translating protocol design into executable demand forecasts, through manufacturing to the ultimate distribution and inventory management of clinical supplies at clinical sites worldwide.
Requirements
- 8+ years manufacturing experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
- 5+ years Operations Management experience
- Experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel to support performance monitoring and business insights.

- Pay Range:
- In the U.S., the hiring pay range for fully qualified candidates is $195,390 - $227,955 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

Nice to have

Compensation
