About the role

TEi Construction Services (TEiC) provides outage, maintenance, and construction services to power generation facilities and industrial processing plants across the United States.

This role is responsible for developing customer relationships, leading estimating and proposal efforts, and overseeing project execution from opportunity identification through project completion.
The Area Manager works closely with TEiC leadership, project teams, and customers to drive safe execution, operational performance, and continued growth within the region.
Customer Relationships & Business Development Develop and maintain relationships with utilities, plant operators, and industrial power generation customers within the assigned area.
Identify upcoming maintenance opportunities and support TEiC's regional growth strategy.
Lead the transition from estimate to formal proposal through TEiC commercial processes.
Identify project risks and implement corrective actions when needed.
Team Leadership Mentor and support project leadership teams including Project Managers, Superintendents, and Field Engineers.
Evaluate project leadership effectiveness and support continuous improvement across the area.
Proven ability to lead multiple projects and teams across a region.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced project environment.

Experience supporting power generation maintenance projects.
Technical knowledge of power plant systems and major power generation equipment.
Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required.
5+ years of experience in field engineering, project management, or related roles supporting industrial or power generation projects.

Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
