Injection mold design, tooling evaluation, repair assessment, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes, mold flow considerations, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
Experience collaborating with product design engineers to improve manufacturability and reduce tooling costs.
Familiarity with CAD software and mold design tools.

Proficiency using precision measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks, and dial indicators.

Experience evaluating tooling suppliers and benchmarking manufacturing capabilities.
Experience leading continuous improvement projects and implementing global best practices.
Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies.
Experience supporting multi-site or global manufacturing operations.
Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification or experience.
