About the role
- They conduct various tests and inspections on raw materials, finished products, and in process materials.
- QA Technician I uses physical and analytical laboratory equipment and techniques to measure and analyze product characteristics, such as coefficient of friction, laminate bond strength, and print quality.
- The job will include training, and the associate will be supervised.
Responsibilities
- Articulate and disseminate results effectively to various levels of personnel, including Department Operators, Team Leads, Supervisors, and Management.
- Create hold tags for defective material and ensure proper identification of tagged rolls.
- They also maintain detailed records of quality control activities and communicate findings to other team members, to other departments/functions, and to plant leadership.
Requirements
- Must be in good standing with no disciplinary action or attendance issues (Associates in Written or higher stage of counseling are not eligible to apply)
- Must have performer or higher rating in last review
- 5 years of QA Technician or equivalent industry experience along with acceptable conduct/behavior.
- Skilled in using measurement tools in both US and Metric systems required
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work instructions required
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail required
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- must be 18 years or older
- o Exhibit proficiency in the utilization of measurement instruments in both US customary and metric systems.
- Eligible for role with 0
- 5 years of QA Technician or equivalent industry experience along with acceptable conduct/behavior. Conduct/behavior includes being present, ready to work, and able to work well with others.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing; lab experience preferred
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required; must be 18 years or older
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and be taught new skills and concepts
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Nice to have

- Proficiency in computer skills, time management, and data interpretation preferred
