About the role

  • 8 month work-term beginning September 2026.
  • Excellent writer with strong eye for detail, highly professional and experience working with a variety of social media channels.

Responsibilities

  • Research and utilize the latest communications trends and actions on a continuous basis to develop and implement new best practices for strategic communications and engagement.
  • Provide regular content and administrative support for Geotab's corporate social media accounts.
  • Support management of CISION media metrics, reporting, wire distribution, advising on insights, and dashboards.
  • Support development of communications materials including media releases, social media, presentations, and background research/data analysis.

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic, creative, and self-motivated, with the ability to work with various departments across Geotab.
  • However, you are welcomed and encouraged to come into our beautiful, safe, clean offices as often as you like.
  • When working from home, you are required to have a reliable internet connection with at least 50mb DL/10mb UL.

Skills

  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills, as well as a willingness to learn and strong work ethic.

Compensation

  • This role offers an hourly pay range which is anticipated to be the range listed below.
