About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as full-time faculty lead for Cougar Capital, a student-managed private equity and venture capital investment program within the Marriott School of Business.
  • Design and deliver instruction for MBA 664 (Private Equity & Venture Capital) and MBA 665 Part 1 & Part 2 (Advanced Private Equity & Venture Capital Strategy), including course structure, materials, and assessment.
  • Lead classroom sessions covering sourcing, due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and portfolio management in private markets.
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with the Cougar Capital program outside of scheduled class sessions, including program administration and student oversight.
  • Prior teaching, instructional design, or curriculum development experience at the collegiate level is strongly preferred, along with a demonstrated ability to mentor students and lead applied, experiential coursework.

  • All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be required to hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
  • All faculty are required to abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
  • Master's Degree.
  • The required degree must be completed by the start date.
