Responsibilities
- This role provides leadership, monitors performance metrics, identifies process improvement, and works collaboratively with internal and external partners to optimize cash flow with a focus on reducing coding errors, clearinghouse rejections and provider documentation errors.
- Supervise and support the day-to-day activities of the team.
- Track and manage team productivity, quality standards, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Train, coach, and mentor staff to improve performance and to ensure adherence to policy and procedures, and develop a cohesive team
- Investigate and manage complex documentation issues to improve external audit results and increase front end revenue.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflow processes to increase efficiency within the department
- Works closely with leadership to ensure the department's activities and priorities are aligned with departmental goals and objectives, communicates expectations to the team, and supports initiatives that drive operational efficiency, productivity, and financial performance.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role
- Proficiency with billing systems and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and concepts effectively
