About the role

  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marine HVAC systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • This role involves overseeing the operations of our field service teams in Norfolk, VA; San Diego, CA; and Seattle, WA.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of sales executives and develop processes to cultivate, qualify and close new sales opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled HVAC field technicians and managers, ensuring high productivity and morale.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
  • Monitor and manage service contracts, ensuring all commitments are met.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive field service experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in operations management.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decision makers at key levels, preferably at the C and D levels.
  • Proficiency with U.S. Federal Government agency budgeting and contracting (acquisition) processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Outlook, and general Windows environment.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances as needed. (This involves a background/character, criminal history, employment, and credit check.)
  • Ability to travel within the region and periodically to the West Cost. (up to 25%)

Nice to have

  • 5+ years' experience focused on U.S. Navy HVAC&R maintenance/modernization services.
  • Bachelor's Degree in either Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related discipline.

Compensation

  • $150,000 - $180,000
