About the role
- This is a practical, hands-on role for someone who likes fixing things quickly and keeping hardware operational.
- This role is based on-site in San Francisco, CA.
- Help keep test hardware organized, available, and operational
Responsibilities
- Maintain demo and test robots in working condition
- Support test setup, execution, and teardown
- We design and manufacture our hardware in-house, which means iteration, fabrication, and execution all happen under one roof.
- As a Test / Repair Technician at Droyd, you will keep test robots running and support hands-on testing across the hardware stack.
- You will diagnose issues, swap parts, perform repairs, and help maintain systems used for demos and evaluation.
Nice to have
- Experience as a repair tech, maintenance tech, assembly tech, or lab tech
- Experience with electromechanical systems
- Experience supporting demos, test hardware, or field systems
- If we do this right, robots stop being demos and start being infrastructure.
Compensation
- $70K-$95K base salary, plus equity
