About the role
- Wabtec - Motive Equipment (MEI) produces cab comfort products for locomotives.
- As a member of the Motive Equipment location of Wabtec, you will be responsible for the shipping and receiving functions of the site.
- The Shipping/Receiving Clerk reports directly to the Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- shift to perform daily duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
- Safety shoes and safety glasses required on the shop floor.
- Employee is required to wear hearing protection in designated areas.
Nice to have
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in shipping/receiving role
- International shipping experience a plus.
- Requires a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and ERP systems.
- Experience driving a sit down and stand-up forklift
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised.
- Basic math skills
- Utilize software, such as Oracle, and various website-based programs customer (supplier) portals
