- Electrician Reports to: Area Coordinator (AC) General Expectations: Team members are expected to set a good example and uphold quality, safety, work pace, attitude and attendance.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate continuous willingness to learn and grow within the home building facility.
- Ability to perform a job that includes but is not limited to repetitive stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, pulling and/or reaching overhead.
- Clayton is a vertically integrated housing company that builds, sells, and insures affordable housing.
Requirements
- Team members should also have a good understanding of the following duties/responsibilities, skills, knowledge, and abilities required, as well as the ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.
- Must be safety conscious and will be required to report safety concerns to EHS Manager or AC.
- Maintain adequate production pace to meet required production schedules.
Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience in construction and/or production preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Ability to be on your feet (standing and/or walking) for up to 4 hours at a time.
- Ability to safely handle and use various power tools and guns that range in weight of 1 - 5 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting all general physical demands of the job.
