  • Modivcare is looking for Wheelchair Drivers to join our team.

Responsibilities

Nice to have

  • Operates vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers, other road users, and self.
  • Familiarizes self with designated routes, utilized maps, or GPS systems to efficiently navigate to destinations while minimizing delays.
  • Regularly inspects vehicle for maintenance needs and is in good working order
  • Completes mechanical checklist at the start of each shift and reports any mechanical problems to management.
  • Completes and enters daily trip sheets for each transport.
  • Ensures all required permits, licenses, and documentation are up-to-date and in order.
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
