About the role
- The 5G Field Expert III is responsible for the installation of Verizon 5G wireless broadband networking equipment in customers' homes and will ensure the highest quality customer experience by providing technical expertise to other field technicians.
- - Achieve complete customer satisfaction 100% of the time by performing work in a professional, timely and approved manner.
Requirements
- Five (5) + years' experience in installation of Cable TV, Satellite TV, Alarm or Telecom
- Ability to lift 65 lbs.
- Ability to work off the ground on ladders
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must have a minimum of 6 months tenure in current role
- Performance rating must be Strong or above
- Good verbal communications and writing skills
- Maintains valid driver's license and driving record that always meets company standards
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Not enrolled in PIP, Written Warning, Final Written Warning or higher disciplinary action
Nice to have
- Previous management skills a plus
- Business to Business (B2B) experience preferred.
Skills
- Achieve complete customer satisfaction 100% of the time by performing work in a professional, timely and approved manner.
- Accurate daily, weekly, and monthly documentation/reporting of service tickets and installations
- Complete installations and repairs using power and hand tools
- Terminate network cable and run cables through walls and ceilings
- Follow and enforce the Company's policies and procedures, including the Field Operation guidelines and safety, at all times
- Use mobile APPs to facilitate installations and service calls
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
