Responsibilities
- Prospect and build a robust sales pipeline across multiple mediums, including phone, email campaigns, trade show leads, and inbound website inquiries.
- Forecast sales and develop "out-of-the-box" sales strategies and models to break into untapped markets and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Conduct dynamic webinar presentations to student groups to drive grassroots interest and lead generation.
- Manage post-sale activities and provide onboarding support to ensure the year-over-year retention and growth of existing university and college relationships.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to share customer takeaways, maintain accurate customer data, and document valuable market insights.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail regarding all sales activities, meticulously logging notes, follow-ups, emails, and call logs.
Requirements
- Must have at least five years of sales experience (with a strong emphasis on outbound prospecting).
- Extensive experience in top-of-funnel pipeline generation, qualifying opportunities, and meticulous time management.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in science, marketing, communications, business, or a relevant field preferred.
