In this hybrid role, you will work with project teams to provide computer-aided drafting expertise, primarily using AutoCAD software.

About the opportunity - Hybrid: this position is based out of Barr's Duluth, Minnesota, office.

Typical duties may include data collection, planning, and problem solving related to structural design.
Project work will include drafting the design of foundations and supports, steel framing, access platforms, stacks, pumping and piping systems, industrial equipment, conveyor systems, and various details.
effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to align technical work with project objectives while fostering strong, productive working relationships.

About you. required core competencies
proficiency with current versions of AutoCAD.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship by Barr, now or in the future.
Experience with 3D software such as Revit, CADWorx, Solidworks, etc.
Familiarity with a variety of structural systems, including heavy steel framing, concrete foundations, and concrete and masonry walls.
Experience with drafting and design in other engineering disciplines, such as mechanical, civil, or electrical
Software: proficiency with current versions of AutoCAD.

This position is classified as non-exempt (hourly) under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Compensation will vary based on relevant experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
