Responsibilities

  • Typical duties may include data collection, planning, and problem solving related to structural design.
  • Project work will include drafting the design of foundations and supports, steel framing, access platforms, stacks, pumping and piping systems, industrial equipment, conveyor systems, and various details.
  • effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to align technical work with project objectives while fostering strong, productive working relationships.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be able to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • About you. required core competencies
  • proficiency with current versions of AutoCAD.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship by Barr, now or in the future.
  • Experience with 3D software such as Revit, CADWorx, Solidworks, etc.
  • Familiarity with a variety of structural systems, including heavy steel framing, concrete foundations, and concrete and masonry walls.
  • Experience with drafting and design in other engineering disciplines, such as mechanical, civil, or electrical
  • Software: proficiency with current versions of AutoCAD.
  • Helpful additional experience (not required)

Compensation

  • This position is classified as non-exempt (hourly) under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
  • Compensation will vary based on relevant experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
