About the role

  • Enabling Business Performance - Join our team as our next DIRECTOR OF ACCOUNTING & FINANCE / CORPORATE CONTROLLER in this onsite / in-person role based in Austin, Texas.
  • The role is responsible for directing and overseeing the Finance & Accounting functions, with full accountability for accounting operations, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, treasury, tax, audit, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across functions, regions, and the broader Jabil organization to drive alignment and support achievement of company objectives.
  • Manage financial statement audits and ensure full compliance with tax requirements, in partnership with corporate functions.
  • Ensure effective internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets, maintain compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Actively manage cash position and cash forecasting to ensure efficient and value-accretive use of company resources.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor managers and staff to build a high-performing finance organization.
  • Proven ability to streamline, optimize, and improve financial processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, advanced degree preferred; active CPA license required
  • Strong experience with ERP systems; Velocity is on a custom-built ERP with manual integrations and plans to ultimately integrate into SAP
