About the role
- As a Regional Merchant Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for driving merchant acquisition and commercial growth in your assigned region.
- This is a high-impact hunter role where success is measured by the quality of merchants you sign, transaction volume, and overall market growth.
- Prospect, approach, and acquire new merchants through outbound and relationship-driven sales.
Responsibilities
- You'll identify high-potential businesses, build relationships with decision-makers, negotiate commercial agreements, and help merchants successfully launch GoBTC Pay.
- Develop and execute the merchant acquisition strategy for your region.
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified merchant opportunities.
- Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach to signed agreement and successful onboarding.
- Drive merchant activation and increase transaction volume after launch.
- Develop local partnerships and co-marketing initiatives that accelerate merchant acquisition.
- GoMining is building the next generation of the Bitcoin economy.
- We're launching GoBTC Pay market by market, starting with Miami USA and we're looking for ambitious Business Development professionals to help us build merchant adoption from the ground up.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Merchant Acquisition, or B2B Sales.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of payment processing, acquiring, or merchant services.
- Experience in crypto or digital assets.
Skills
- Strong commercial negotiation skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
Compensation
- up to 20 vacation days + 8 company holidays + 5 personal days per year
